I'd appreciate any advice on an easy to use microwave, please. My last one was a Panasonic 900w 20 inch wide but I think a cheaper one would do the trick now as it'll be used mainly for heating up ready made meals. Can't cope with difficult controls! Thank you
I always buy a cheap one from a supermarket now. The one I have I have been using for about 7 years and it gets plenty of use, it was about £25 at the time
Panasonic make so many models as do other manufacturers. You need a "solo" microwave which is the kind with fewer functions (and less controls).
The cheaper models should have the least complications and do the simple tasks you want. Our last two have been given by neighbours when they upgraded and both did the simple tasks we needed.
I've got a lovely small Panasonic 800w which does all I need. It's touch pad, not dial which is more accurate. I think it was 59.99 or 69.99 and I'm really pleased with it.
I get mine from the supermarket. I also go for cheap as I only use it for heating things like beans. As my microwave isn't actually in my kitchen I don't care what it looks like (I have a pantry)
