I'm sure it will have a technical name but near to the end of the pilot flame you should see a small bent up piece of metal.... This is the tip of a heat senser that detects your pilot flame has been lit, if it too far away it will not heat up suffciently and the boiler wont know the pilot has been lit. You can gently bend it towards the flame again..... shouldn't need too much :-)

This is a tempory job and you should be thinking of getting that part replaced.

hi just had similar problem. it could be air in the pump. theres a large screw on the font of the pumb and if you slowly undo it till the water trickles out , this allow's the air to escape then tighten screw up again ,, good luck

merry, 1. Do you mean that the pilot light is lit, but the main burner will not come on ? 2. You say " pumps " ? 3. What is the make and model of the boiler?
