Hi Baths,

No, I have never met Ms Paige, she doesn't move in the circles of music in which I work - although I would be happy to interview her if an opportunity arose.

I think she retains the 'lovey' approach of her profession, and musical theatre is utterly outside my remit, or enjoyment, so I never listen to her show.

I find her irritating full stop. Also, with very few exceptions, I also dislike musical theatre so find it easy to not listen to her programme at all.

I never liked Elaine Paige much and never went to a show if she was in it.... until....Sunset Boulevard.
I had booked sixty tickets for a coach trip and when EP was given the lead a couple of weeks before I couldn't cancel, but I did chunter about having to watch her.....how wrong was I!

Although younger than I though Norma Desmond should be she was fantastic.....
I was the first on my feet to give EP a standing ovation......Not quite as brilliant as Glenn Close...but who could be?....

Still can't bear the giggle though.......x
