Birdie@I do not tell lies and I am not lying. You asked what religion I would have been if I lived in Egypt. Well, the Hebrews lived in Egypt and they worshipped the God Jehovah. And so would I have. Also at the time of the Exodus, many Egyptians changed their beliefs and followed the Hebrews out of the land of Egypt.
Jehovahs witnesses have been around since the very beginning. Just because the name was not used does not mean there were none.
Adam and Eve believed in Jehovah God, so did their sons. Noah, Abraham King David, Solomon, Jonah,Jesus Christ and his disciples all believed in Jehovah and talked about him (witnessed about him), Read the book of Psalms, Book of Job, Jonah and in fact, all the books of the Bible.
It gives a history as well as prophecy of the future.
That's why you don't understand, you only take bits and pieces or listen to those who don't understand. It would take you about 5 years to read the Bible thoroughly and even more to understand it and even then you wouldnot be able understand everything in it.
Even the priests and religious leaders attend theological college for some years before they qualify to their standards. BTW, that is not God's standards.
