Bright lights?

OK forgive me for being so vague but this guy in the flat below me a couple of years ago used to play this album pretty loud..i heard a few of the songs and they were sort of big-bass, rock/electro-type stuff, and the only lyrics i could really make out were like: "put on the bright (or maybe "white"?) light...we don't know" it's a guy singing it...sound at all familiar??!

I dont know but could it be a track off the Interpol album 'Turn on the bright lights'.......its a good album all the same!

thanks idlewild, i had a search and it turns out it's NYC off that album. wicked song! cheers!
