if the matter of alleged anti-semitism in Labour is, as described, a storm in a medium sized teacup, why is the party not robustly defending those councillors (and ken livingstone) who it has just very publically suspended?

There is an on-going enquiry Mush, which is what you would expect Corbyn to have announced.

Its a storm in a teacup, because there is no evidence that this anti-semitism is widespread and/or institutional.

I would expect Labours enemies to be making the most of this, which they are.
