Beginning of last week I had my annual Diabetes (T2) blood test at the local surgery.
Have just received a letter from local Hospital informing me that as a result of above test an appointment has been made for me to attend X-Ray Reception on Sunday morning at silly o'clock.
Have 'phoned surgery and neither Diabetes Nurse or Doctor has heard anything yet, Doctor is going to follow it up and get back to me after surgery is finished.
X-Ray reception could only confirm the appointment.
Not unduly worried, I'm a fit active guy for my age (64), had a couple of bits of 'maintenance' done in last year or three, and don't have any aches or pains. So more puzzled than worried atm, trying to resist temptation to Google as well.
Can't think of a rational reason why a Chest X-Ray would be needed following the result of a Diabetic blood check, unless the whole caboodle was for an annual M.O.T.

Hi Sqad, they didn't specify what they wanted to X-Ray, I've not long had annual Valve Clinic check up following AVR in '09 and that was all ok, so anyones guess?
Thanks Sibs, let's hope you don't.
They are only 5 - 6 miles down the road, so if I don't hear anything tomorrow I'll go anyway, I'm usually about early so no big deal.
