Here again, do you find the week comes around very quickly when you have retired?

Yes, Prudie. I remember Sunday evening being a real downer. Not so now.
Yeah how come Saturday and Sunday go faster than working days.
I don't know how I found time to go to work for 50 years.
I can't wait to find out...
Neither can I, moony.
Oy you pair^^ don't put me on a guilt trip;-)
It could be that we never retire, moony. The government keep moving the goal posts.

don't put me on a guilt trip;-)

Yeah right ;-)

Yes full week of appointments, other peoples', work was bliss
Every day is so similar to the others that they all blend together and seem to fly by. As for dates, that's what your mobile helps with. Check it in the supermarket and see if the sell by date is today or in 5 weeks time.
Oh, yes. Agree with other posts, the days just melt into each other - and I don't seem to get anything done. There's always tomorrow, and then tomorrow's gone too!
I find that each day is demarcated by a particular activity. I would hate it if each day was indistinguishable from the next. Then again, I have always liked routine. I'm a bit OCD like that.
Tomorrow is Saturday.
It's Sunday, Tilly!
