We keep seeing all these ads for the ideal gift, e.g. DVD's, days out, motoring things, clothes etc. But to me, the best thing is just receive a card from the family. That shows they went to the trouble for you and have remembered. Everything else seems irrelevant to me. What do you think?

Maybe, but I ersonally have a little chuckle to myself thinking about the prezzy i bought Mr Boo from Mini Boo. It's a Mr Potato Head done up as Indiana Jones, complete with hat, leather jacket and whip (oooer!), it plays the tune and comes with the caption...."Taters of the Lost Ark".

these gifts for mothers and fathers days are getting beyond a joke, once upon a time it would be a card and flowers or chocolates or a bottle of something or slippers.

now they are advertising that we should be out buying nintendo DS's and expensive gifts for what is really a token day

hummm....personalized gifts like a mug, cushion (https://www.india-gift.in/cushion-for-dad-ig-630) or spending a whole day with your daddy and cooking for him can be a heart-touching gift for Fathers day.
