Is it safe to use slug pellets on my orchid plant pot? After having them indoors since bought ages ago something ate an awful lot of blooms on one plant! It looks like slug or caterpillar shape of desecration.

No i have no pets or as yet slugs ind.oors.I wonder if there was a slug egg that has just matured? I have repotted it with fresh compost and separated it from my other orchids. This happened overnight last night.
well slug pellets won’t hurt the orchid but they can harm pets and humans if eaten which is why I asked. The ferric oxide ones are safer than the old metaldehyde ones
