Selling Fake/copy Items On Ebay.

how is it possible for ebay to allow sellers to sell these obviously fake t-shirts on ebay...on armani website the t-shirts are all in and around £120.00 for t-shirts. so obviously fake.
but i was suspended years ago for selling one gstar jacket which i actually got off ebay one month beforehand and didnt like like it so resold it...lol
ebay refuse to let me sell again because of this one hickup even though i have spent more than 5000 pounds in last few years and have 100% buying rates. Interestingly, the guy will post to 'Europe' but not to the Channel Islands, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Scilly Isles, Scottish Highlands, Scottish Islands, Northern Ireland, Albania, Andorra, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Republic of, Denmark, France, Gibraltar, Greece, Guernsey, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Jersey, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Moldova, Monaco, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Svalbard and Jan Mayen, Sweden, Switzerland or Ukraine.
If that lot are all now outside Europe, the Eurovision Song Contest Final next Saturday will probably be somewhat shorter than usual ;-)

The seller is allegedly a firm called 'K & N' in Bradford. However the postcode for the address given has an error in it. (The address is actually on a housing estate; it could be a small, one-man business operating from there but such a business probably wouldn't need to be VAT-registered, so why is a VAT number given?). The postcode error might just be a simple typo but the company registration number given isn't recognised on the Companies House website. (The name 'K & N' is registered to a completely different company).
Further, websites which check the validity of VAT numbers don't recognise the one given there either.
The item is shown as being sold from Bradford but the postage details show that it's to be sent from outside of the UK (with an estimated delivery time of one to two weeks).
I suspect that the person living at the residential address shown probably knows nothing about the 'company' (or, more likely, the private individual) and that it's just been picked at random by an overseas counterfeiter.
The reviews for the seller all appear to be positive but:
(a) they clearly come from many different countries, suggesting that the seller definitely isn't really UK-based ; and
(b) one nominally 'positive' review actually says " Very very poor copies but for 25 quid what did I expect" !
The Armani website doesn't seem to have a 'report counterfeits' form (as many other 'designer' websites do). Perhaps you've got a contact point?"

Personally, anything which subverts the whole business of rich people trying to impress other rich people with their ability to squander 130 squid on a ruddy tee shirt while the rest of us look on, approvingly and do our best to imitate this supposedly virtuous behaviour, has to be a good thing, in my opinion.
I would post a gratuitous photo of some starving children, more deserving of our dosh than any fashion designer but that would only be rubbing it in.
Then again, if it weren't for the vagiaries of fashion, how would Oxfam turn a buck?
