I thought I would post this in here rather than film as I wanted an intelligent response. :-)
Can anyone recommend any good (and I mean outstanding) DVD's available to buy about nature..? It can be anything from evolution to focus on a single animal to a single part of the world.
Thanks.
PS. I've seen march of the penguins. Very good.

It's called 'Animals are Beautiful People'. It took four years to make - is set in the Southern Deserts of Africa and includes hilarious scenes of warthogs, baboons and elephants totally drunk after gorging themselves on over ripe Marula fruits. The film is an absolute joy! The only place you can buy it (I think) is here where mine came from.
Hi
There are two that come to mind. The first is a BBC DVD called Predators from the series that was on TV last year or the year before - absolutely excellent can't praise highly enough.
The second is light hearted but factual and is called Animal Olympics - great commentary - just like the Olmpics commentary - there is a follow up which I don't think is out on DVD yet and can't remember what it is called but is about Winter Olympics. The basic premise of the first is which category of animal wins at certain sports found in the Olympics (when reduced or enlarged to the size of man to make everybody equivalent.) The high jump with the flea is brilliant - it gets disqualified for leaping out of the arena over the sea and onto an adjacent island!
