Well... It did but I still couldn't understand what happened!
Yes, fully explained....but too long ago for me to remember. Sorry!
He landed on a crash mat I believe. Although the episode seemed to set things up in such a way as to leave it ambiguous if that was actually what happened.
as I recall it showed a few options but didn’t actually say THIS was how he did it.
watch it again in player. it was explained
in as much that when in the lab he persuaded her to substitute a corpse for himself all dressed up as him and they threw it off the roof whilst a team of Mycrofts men staged a diversion for the sniper and holmes slipped downstairs all made up in blood and pretended to be dead on the ground from the fall whilst my crofts goons moved the dressed up corpse out the way and they knocked watson out so he cd not say that is not holmes body it is some other corpse. then he kept low for years. If follows the Reichenbach Falls story but in that original Conan Doyle just says 'Oh no he did not die he escaped the fall to his death just like that'. Which is actually more of a cheat and like 'its all been a dream 'in Dynasty. Anyway it is back soon.
