As part of their cut backs, I heard this morning that the BBC will be removing their recipes from their website. Do many of you use them regularly. I think its a great shame they are to be removed.

Use them all the time especially 'Saturday Kitchen' ones. Though to be fair there are a host of other recipe sites.

I think many folk do. It's a great resource that often comes up near the top of any websearch for recipes. I wonder how much it costs to leave them still accessible anyway.

I'd have thought they could save the £15M by simply replacing one or two of their overpaid "stars" or management.

I always look for the BBC Good Food recipe site. Is that one going?
I notice that the Daily Mail prints their weekday daily recipes using this site.

I'd save fractionally on having to maintain the drives where the data is, and presumably the cost of the public accessing it. Hosting costs but i don't know how much. Ask Ed, maybe it costs £15M to host Answerbank.
