holidays in september

has antone got any ideas where to go on holiday in september but where it is still hot but fairly cheap and quiet????x

prices are easing off around the Mediterranean by that time; it's heading into low season. You should be able to get good prices in Greece and Spain, where it will be warm rather than hot; Cyprus and North Africa will be warmer still. Same with the Canaries but perhaps not so cheap as they're further to go. The Caribbean is hot but it's hurricane season, and they're predicting a bad year for them.

portugal is a good bet. flights are cheap and only 2.5 hrs. weather should still be good in sept. algarve probably good for you . i will be there with my other half in aug, thru sept, but we like a place called costa da caparica nr lisbon. its fantastic. we will also spend a few days in prai da rocha(algarve), which is also great. you should try it you wont go far wrong.

I find Skali Kalloni on Lesvos cheap and very quiet but it is a 4 hour flight,

We have had many holidays in Cyprus (mainly Paphos) & usually go in April/May - Sep/Oct. The climate is just right for us in those months, but it isn't very cheap.

However, you can still get late deals which could work out quite reasonable. Good luck.
