Copying data to disc
3 Answers
As someone who has previously lost all info on my computer, I now try to save things regularly but have two big problems.
Firstly, I struggle to understand what my software Nero can do for me - the Help information is as clear as mud and full of technojargon. Can I, for instance, update a CD-RW if I have added new items to a file or document or will it just accept completely new items additionally (presuming there's space) or have I got to wipe it clean & start again? I really am at a loss!
Secondly, whilst I can cope with copying docs, pix, etc (just!), I have no clue how to copy two of my most important items, namely my OE Address Book and Calendar, because I don't know what they look like in terms of finding them in the endless list of items which lurks inside my computer! I've succeeded before in copying the shortcut which ain't a lot of good!
I feel so frustrated and it makes me very anxious and feel so foolish!! Please help this maiden in distress.

You can write different items to it at different times but to delete something you have to delete the whole CD. Another way is to Format the CD in which case you can Drag and Drop anything just like as if you are using a Floppy. Formatting a CD reduces the useable space to about 535MB though.

I just add this so that you will not feel so anxious and foolish, I have no idea which techno-muppet wrote the list or rules for Nero, it is installed on my computer and although I would truly love to use it I have had several goes at it and only managed to use it by accident!
Even the Wizard seems to be off his trolly!...No help, but I hope it makes you feel less inadequate!
