renault megane 1999

the flap valve which allows the air to reciculate in the car makes a loud clicking noise when the ignition is switched on the valve does close ok.The noise stops in about 1 min I have diconnected the blower sw. but the fault remains suspect a faulty relay but cannot locate same I purchased a haynes manual but it does not show the electrical cicuit. Renault Megane 1999
