In Part 1 - some of the music was: Artist / Track.
RATT -Dance; Steve Winwood - There's A River.
Part 2:
Corey Hart - Blind Faith; Jimi Hendrix - All Along The Watchtower; Billy Idol - Don't Need A Gun; Steve Miller Band - I Wanna Make the World Turn Around.
I hope the track you are looking for is listed! If not get back to me and I will look further!
Hi again Arsenal
Thank you for your help so far ...
The other track info I'm looking for relate to a couple of episodes which I, unfortunately, don't have the names for, but I'll try to describe 'em !!
The first is the very last feature length episode which starred Ian McShane .... at the start, Crockett & Tubbs become involved in a car chase which ends when their path is blocked by the FBI ... can you help with the track that played during the chase please ?
Also, at the end credits, when various scenes are shown from all the Miami Vice episodes, another track is played which I was hoping to find out the name of .....
In an episode where Crockett turns 'bad', he is seen playing backgammon with the pony-tailed son of his drug-dealer employer .... the drug-dealer's wife appears in the background and dances round the swimming pool, only for the drug-dealer's son to start kissing her, watched by Crockett who had orchestrated the whole thing ... can you help with the track that played then please ?
Also, I couldn't find the track you were looking for on any of the sites I use I'm afraid .... sorry ....
I was looking for a track 'On The Edge Of Town' by The Truth from 'Death And The Lady' but have also had no luck there either .... any ideas where I might get that one ?
Once again Arsenal, thank you for your help.

Hello Stevie.
I hope this helps you out: The episode with Ian McShane in it was called 'Knock Knock....Who's There?' - some of the music in this episode is as follows: Artist / Title.
Bryan Adams / Heat of The Night; Dire Straits / Ride Across The River; Shriekback / Underwaterboys; Grace Jones / The Fashion Show; Belkis Concepcion Y Sus Chicas / La Vecina.
There were 3 Episodes when Crockett 'turned bad'. They were called Mirror Image, Hostile Take Over & Redemption In Blood. (The second episode Hostile Take Over' seems to be the one what you are after - but I have listed some of the music from all three).
Big Pig / Money God; Tangerine Dream / Alpha Centuri; Echo & The Bunnymen / Bed Bugs & Ballyhoo; Underworld / Underneath The Radar; Toni Childs / Walk & Talk Like Angels; Peter Gabriel / Don't Give Up; Peter Cetera / You Never Listen To Me.
I hope this helps - let me know anymore you would like!
Hi again Arsenal
Thank you once again .... the Toni Childs track was the one I was looking for ....
D'ya know if Ian McShane was in more than one episode ... the tracks you listed don't look like the ones I'm looking for .... the episode I'm thinking about (if Ian McShane was in more than one) is the final feature-length episode where Crockett and Tubbs shoot down the flying boat which Ian McShane was escaping in and then were forced to throw in their shields given they had gone up against the FBI, and Miami Vice ended ....
Look forward to hearing from you again and thanks again ....

p.s the other track I mentioned, 'On The Edge Of Town' by The Truth, have ya any idea where I might get that one ? Thanks again

My apologies Stevie. I am McShane was in the last episode - entiled 'Freefall'. Funnily enough I never watched this one - I couldn't bring myself to! I have got it on video though - along with abot 70 odd other episodes.
Some of the music in this 2 hour long episode were: (Artist / Title).
Genesis / Land Of Confusion; Jackson Browne / Lives In The Balance; King Swamp / Year Zero; Lyle Lovett / Crying Shame; Honeymoon Suite / Bad Attitude; Robert Plant / Ship Of Fools; Tim Truman & Don Johnson / No Way Out; Terry Kath / Tell Me.
Hope this helps - I will look into your other track you are after. Are you doing a big collection of Miami Soundtracks? There are so many songs I would like to get on one of two CDs. Anyway - anymore - let me know!
Hi again Arsenal ....
You've done it again .... Honeymoon Suite was the one I was looking for !!!!! Thank you ....
If I can impose on your good nature further ....
There was another musical track which, I assume, will be Jan Hammer's .....
It featured in the episode where Castillo is joined by what he believes is a Vietnamese Police Lieutenant to track down a serial killer who had operated in Vietnam and had appeared in Miami .... the track is played as Castillo lies injured both having tracked down and killed the serial killer in a hotel I think it was, and the Vietnamese Lieutenant leaves him with a note and vanishes .... Castillo discovers the Lieutenant was not a cop after all .... the track plays as they both attempt to sneak up on the killer and plays throughout Castillo lying injured ....?
I thought the episode this was from was 'The Savage', however that episode was repeated on TV recently and I don't think it was the episode I was thinking about ....
Hope you can help again ....
Thank you again ...
