Itchy bum dilemma !!!

What do you do if you have an itchy bum, your in a room full of strangers ,
you need to scratch it, but cant leave the room for ages ???

Doctor told me that the best thing for an itch is to rub it and not scratch. Scratching makes it worse. I would point out that it wasn't my nether regions that were itching!!

itchy back that you cant reach has to be the worst itch !!!!

I heard that when / if the 'nether' regions are itchy it's a sign of one having worms.

It does work actually. But I had a rash all over and it would have proved a bit ridiculous sitting there all day smacking myself!!

Whenever this happens to me I demonstrate my Sethu Bandhasa yoga posture and sneak in a quick @rse scratch. Repeat as necessary.

Apparently the same nerves that cause pain. Irritation of some sort will cause an itch and yes worms can cause itchy bums, but so can lots of other things. And scratching does cause more itching as I found out. I ended up with something called Lizard skin because I scratched the itches. Not nice. Resist the temptation to itch and slap instead!!

Billy Connolly addressed this dilemma. He said what you should do is say in a really loud voice "Oooh, I have a really itchy bum, I think I must scratch it". Then everyone will look away and you can scratch to your hearts content!!
