I have had to put up with an anti social family for the last 5 years. This family has caused us so much trouble and today I will hand in my 6 month diary along with photo evidence. The council have said they will go through the mediation process but the abuse we have had has come one way. I have lived on the same street for nearly 40 years. I have an appointment with our health visitor this week as I have a 6 month old baby and this has effected our family life and our health.
The question I have is if I decide to sell up will I need to tell the potential new buyer about my neighbours?
How hard is it to get a mortgage these days? what has changed?
Yes Nisar. hc4361 is right. Keep in touch with us on this link. You will find some comfort in the emotional support that is offered by the responses on this site. We all hope you can resolve it.
Try to hold off on selling until after the council has done their bit.
You might even have a word with your local councillor and see if s/he can do anything to speed the process up a bit.
I personally wouldn't contact Social Services unless I had a genuine concern for the children......which you may have.
Hang on in there NISAR1. It's ghastly when you cannot rely on your home being a safe and peaceful place.
No videos of there behaviour as I may get classed as a pedo only got audio. The diary was first given in July but I thought I would give them a chance but not anymore. Will keep you updated everyone.
I thought I should give you an update on my situation. Since the mediation a lot has improved the noise has decreased dramatically and as a family we no longer get foul language directed towards us. My car is no longer blocked in as was the case which lasted for 100 days. The only thing that bothers me is the late night phone calls that are made at 23:30, 1am or as late as 3am. I have to get up at 5am in the morning for work and the late night phone calls wake me up. He knows I can hear him as I once knocked on the wall just one and then foul language was then directed towards me this was mentioned in the mediation meeting. Most days I sleep in my car for 30 mins during my lunch hour as I get deprived of sleep. I was thinking of getting some sort of mobile signal blocker to stop him using his phone but have no idea what is out there in the market I would only use this from 9pm till 7am just so a my wife could also get some much needed sleep
