tarmac?
6 tarmac
Dr (doctor) A(ttorney) G(eneral) S (Cardinal point)
Drags- Dr(doctor) + ag(attorney General) + s (cardinal)
I'm still struggling to parse tarmac
I can see RAT
same as FF, I think it's the answer but can't parse beyond rat
cam(which turns) reversed?
Maybe danny. Good thought
After "rat" is used one is left with mac, reversed to be cam, which I have attempted to parse as camber which is put on roads but can't produce the other letters.
Do we know if we have the whole clue? Could there be a word missing which would make sense of cam?
To be honest I can't really see 'tar' either. Usually 'odd' means the odd letters of the next word, but not so with 'traitor'?
possibly get reb(rebel) for odd coupled with cam to give camber, but it seems a stretch to make it fit
As it is written the clue makes little sense; tarmac or camber seem to be the obvious choice but I can't parse either of them.
I feel the clue is either missing something or mistyped.
Agreed
I think there should be a word between this & to
Even been thinking traitor( turncoat ) could make CAMber into MAC
I've given up on this one, getting a headache.
