Do you have any sympathy for this driver caught in floods yesterday?

Be warned though, the onlookers use some choice language.

not always easy to tell how deep water is, unless you've thought to pack scuba gear. It's not happened to me, but I can see how it might do.
No sympathy at all from me, typical full speed rush from a 'dumbo'.

Just wait until he gets the repair bill and tow away fee!
Yeah...I have some sympathy.

Oh come on, it was obvious to everyone else there that there was a severe flood under the bridge. What a plonker.
I would have used the same fruity language had I seen this pillock. And I am a LADY!
Not denying he's a plonker but I always feel for someone when they prove what a plonker they are and humiliate themselves...
He was probably in the pub and needs drying out.....
No, he's a Londoner.
A couple of decades back I had a TR7. One evening driving back from work on the North Circular it was absolutely chucking it down. Came down from the flyover to see a "lake" in front of me. Had to decide; couldn't really go back against the traffic, couldn't really stop still and wait for ever. Kept it in low gear, foot slightly on the clutch to keep the revs high, and held my breath as I went through. Happy to say I did make it and didn't find any ingress when I looked later, even though I'm sure the water level outside was above the bottom of the door; but that was a bit stressful.
