Personally I've not heard of them but this German site seems to think they're ok.

If you had an unsolicited call from the firm then it is nothing more than a SCAM. Sorry if I shouted, but I want to get the message over to you.

It is most important that you keep Chili away from your computer.

You don't need a firm such as Chili to give you a free hour when you can get hours of advice for nothing on AB.

Jordyboy9...I refer to your posting at 08.50 this morning and feel sure that Buenchico and other Techies will advise you to stay well clear of Chili; similarly to all folk who have responded so far in this thread.

Incidentally, it would be interesting to know what was said during the 'on-line' chat you had with whom I feel are 'Scammers'.

If you are stupid enough to do it they get you to give them remote access of your entire computer system. It is a scam, once they get in they will lock out your computer, delete all your files and demand payment to 'release' it.
Of course they will say 'it's not us' we found a dangerous virus and it will take more work to free your computer.
