Citrus fruits are bad for that.

Really WBM is it a dry gin? I prefer the botanical ones as they don't have just a perfumey smell

I'm with Jackdaw on this, every day is gin day in this house :)
Currently ploughing our way through a bottle of Silent Pool, very nice it is too, fairly botanical so it may suit you Islay. The bottle is lovely too.
My usual gin of choice is Bombay Saphire, himselfs is Tanqueray No. 10. Always with slimline tonic and half a lime squeezed in.

What caused this gin renaissance in recent years? It went out of fashion for a while. Last couple of summers it was Pimms, and now it's gin :) Used to be my tipple of choice when I drank. Gin + grapefruit juice...loved it!

I had a really bad gallbladder episode and ended up in A&E.
