A European Army is one of the dreams of Jean-Claude Juncker, fomer mayor of the town of Luxembourg, a tin-pot town in an insignificant country.
His basic salary by the way, is £245,629 - what his expenses amount to, your guess is as good as mine (the books are closed).
A European Army would require, like the US , a Commander in Chief (The President). Who would that be, someone like him?

We could not be forced to join an army that we do not want to. The UK would have to agree to joining, and no British Government would do. Corbyn certainly would not agree, and Cameron has already said no.

We have stayed outside the EuroZone and the Schengen Area. Opting out of the EU Miltary Force would be the same.
As far as the UK is concerned, a EU Army is a non starter.
