Paintballs

Hi, not sure if osted under correct category but never mind...Do paintball guns all take the same size paintballs? Just wondering because im going soon but ive heard the paintballs are fairly expensive, so I wanted to buy some before I go which are cheaper. Can you take your own paintballs or does it just depend on what place you go?

I've never known a place that would let you use your own. Firstly it's their main source of income, and secondly their insurance wouldn't cover it if everyone took their own ammo and people got injured. I do know several places that let you pre-order your paintballs saving a bit of cash though

As jenky says, its not likely that you can take your own paintballs, but some places will allow you to use your own gun, but they would have to inspect it first.

If they do let you take your own stuff, use marbles cos you can pick them up afterwards and use them again and again!

Wow, jenky are you out to kill someone? holy crap that would hurt. Most paintballs are .68 calibur. Dont try to be cheap about paintballs becouse the cheap ones either break in your gun and jam it up, or they do not shoot straight. I spend about 45 US dollars on a case of 2000 balls. I usually just play in the woods with about 6 to 8 friends and have alot of fun. Paintball is an expensive hobby, a good gun, air and air tanks, protective gear, and good paintballs.
