Windows 10 And Cortana

Please can someone tell me how to stop that irritating brown notice popping in from the left every couple of minutes offering me opportunity the Search for Apps Settings Documents etc?
Managed to get rid of irritating female's voice ages ago, can't remember what I did then.
Help please

What you need is the box just above the question. Type Cortana in it and see what comes up ;-)
