Anyone That Loves Dogs, Please Read This

I have just come across a post that ladybirder posted a little while ago which really broke my heart. I think dogs are the most loyal, precious and loving animals i have ever met, they should be helping people with depression, blindness or even isolation issues. So i wanted to make sure everyone sees this:

isn't eating meat cruel in general? yes i see this has to stop, but what about the other animals we eat every day, exc me, i'm a vegetarian.
aren't a lot of them harshly treated?

Yes of course they are piggy but this post is about a particular petition you are being asked to sign. Unfortunately it would take forever to list all the hideous cruelties visited on animals by humans but here is one horrendous example of animal cruelty where there is a slight chance we may be able to make a difference. Entirely up to you whether or not you sign it but thank you for your interest anyway.

sorry ladybird for appearing insensitive, but cows, pigs and sheep are badly treated daily!! in the uk, and not for a festival. I could download countless videos for you, but i think it would be counterproductive and unfair.
makes me sick when these butchers hide behind the organic label!!

Piggy, no need to apologise. As I have said, I am very well aware of the cruelty to animals that goes on the world over and it makes me sick to my stomach.
Please don't post any of the videos you talk about; I've seen enough to last me a lifetime.

sorry, i didn't want to come across as if i only care for dogs, although dogs are my favourite, i do love nature and animals. i have just recently become vegetarian because it brakes my heart that animals get treated so badly. My only exception to eating meat is when they reduce it down because it's about to be thrown away, that just makes me so upset that a animal has died just to end up in a dustbin.

also, the situation in guangxi is made even more sad by the fact they steal peoples much loved pets to provide enough meet for the festival
