Best Glue For Boot Sole Repair

Hey everyone..

Thought I'd got myself a bargain on a second hand pair of Cat boots on fleabay and then the sole fell off :(

Took them to local shoe-mender who tutted and said he couldn't restick it.

So, best glue for the job for a home attempt please :)

Try Gorilla Glue.

My son-in-law, who is a shoe repairer, says he cannot understand how another shoe repairer can say they cannot repair a pair of shoes! That said he says try Evo-stik or something similar.
Gorilla glue would be a nightmare to remove should anything go wrong.

Araldite,sticks anything and even the rapid set gives you time to adjust any errors you make.

Araldite....epoxy resin....that sets rock-hard is NOT the stuff to use!

I had looked at that stuff Tony but not sure if it can be used to do a whole sole.. looks to be more for repairs maybe?
