Did I just hear Jeremy Hunt say there could be a second referendum to agree the terms of our exit?

Surely this is Just another tactic to remain? There is no chance of making Remainders happy and the Bretixers will probably be looking for different things.

I wondered if I heard right on (I think it was) Sunday, when I saw Phillip Hammond being interviewed.
He said that the negotiations may have to include some ‘free movement.’
Surely that can’t happen: Free movement was one of the biggest concerns, and many politicians from the remain camp have admitted that they underestimated the opinions of the public on that issue.
Bigbad, this is what that's all about.

Personally I'd say "Stick your single market. It's your loss".
Thank you, naomi.

I suppose the old bat wants to offload some of her (way too many) migrants on to us.

So, yes, she can stick it, right where the sun don’t shine - an out vote was supposed to mean no more free movement, and no more being told what to do by megalomaniacs like her!
Jeremy hunt is delusional if he thinks anyone proposing a second referendum would have any realistic support in parliament. You cant pick and choose which bits of democracy you like especially after one of the fairest ( every vote counts ) ballots we have ever had. He cant run the NHS so his ambitions to be PM are a non starter.
Mrs Murkhell says we cant expect trade deals without accepting "free movement". She is getting worried about where all her invited guests are to go when we say sorry borders closed. Perhaps that was always the intention, wave them in and wave them on.........to Britain. Now she's get a free movement methinks.

I just posted this on a different thread, I think it belongs here too.

The referendum wasn't remain a member of the EU or leave the EU if we get a good enough leave deal.

It was leave.

Regardless of the exit deals we leave. If the government, or whoever negotiates our deals does a bad job they will be on their ear soon enough.
We can expect whatever we wish to. If Germany expects free movement of people in order to get a trade deal then I'm sure German industry will be thrilled. The German people (i.e. voters) might be a little put out too. But their leader's choice I suppose.
How about 2 more goes at a referendum then total up all results & divide by 3 to get semi final results then have another referendum to decide on the final result. The mind boggles.
....and do it all again till remain win Ron?
I have a very accommodating shop-keeper. I go into his store and buy a scratch-and-win ticket; if I don't win, I say "Can I have another one please?", to which he responds "Of course, stuey: Here's another.", and I stay there all day until I win...It's great.
