Just a quick question - I'm still using Adobe Flash Player but understand it's liable to prove troublesome, can anybody recommend a better replacement ?

No replacement as far as I know. But most sites are now using HTML 5 (IIRC) in place of Flash. Try removing it and work without it. You will be advised if you can't play a vid because it is missing

Set flash to activate when required. Easy to do in firefox not sure about other browsers.

My settings always blocks videos unless I click to allow that once.
Minimises the risk without preventing me seeing things that I wish to see.
