If I were to copy a movie on to a poor quality dvd+r,which when played stuck all the time.Would it be possible to then buy some good quality discs & then transfer said movie onto better disc & not affect playback or will will it just transfer poor quality data onto a good quality disc??Thanks guys!!
It will transfer the data you give it to transfer - if you have a poor copy, the new disc will not 'remember' the original and tidy up for you, it will simply duplicate the bad copy.
The only way is to recopy the movie onto a better quality disc.
Will also be worth trying your "poor quality" DVD+R in another DVD player. If your DVD player is a few years old, it may not cope with Recordable discs too well.
Modern players usually specify that they can read DVD+R, -R, +RW, -RW, etc.
