Whatsapp Query

I created a WhatsApp group a while ago but no longer want it to run.
I would however like to access some of the information on it in the future.
I know this might sound obvious but I just wanted to check . . . if I delete the individual members from the group then nobody will be able to see it or use it, but I can still read what is on there? Is that correct?

I'd guess so. Start a test group between you and a willing friend and try taking them off then checking what you each see.
