Can You Reuse Carpet Underlay?
i need to replace a carpet in my bedroom which is only a few years old, can i reuse the existing underlay which is in very good condition?

However I'd be happy to do so - if I actually had any underlay in the first place! I prefer to stick with the old DIY trick of using lots of old newspapers ;-)

To be fair, when I buy a house the underlay is not a consideration. If a house has obviously been primed for sale - new carpets and freshly decorated - I assume the carpets are cheap and 'will do, for now'. If the carpets are old it would not put me off buying the property.

lol just joking, i'm hoping for around 300. i really think it will make the difference. I've finished another bedroom completely and it looks so nice all clean and white with sand coloured carpets (i didn't replace them) i think if they that then see the master with disgusting carpets it will be a real turn off
