Wednesday. Another fine day on it's way by the look of things. I'll settle for that. I can get some more done outside before watching wumblybum. No air movement at all. Rather pleasent. Long may it last.

Himself is still rootling about in the bit of garden left wild for the butterflies and bees. (That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!)

Sorrento is a beautiful place. Go there out of the main season and its near perfect. Wonderful food and such friendly people. We found a real Italian pizza place in the back streets, with almost all local Italian families, and we were treated like royalty, as they didn't see many tourists.

It had long tables and wooden benches, and everybody just shuffled up and made room. Loads of well-behaved kids who were a delight !

The wine came in jugs, and the pizzas were the best I have ever eaten, bar none....and all this for less than £12 a head. We went back three evenings in a row !
