my cat is 19, and ets fairly expensive food. Every time i bought food for abouth the lst 2 yers, ive gone thru an internal monolougue about whether to buy 1kg or 3 KG (obviously more expensive but better value should your cat live long enough to eat it all. Anyway, i saw a GREAT deal on 10 kg bag and bought it. Have i completely scuppered the life expectancy of said cat do you think?

19 is a really good age - you must have been doing something right.

If puss does keel over your local rescue centre of Cats Protection branch would probably be grateful for left over food. I d this when my last cat died.

Mums last cat was a little over 23 so with luck you will need to buy more
