Well done to the Manxman who after today's stage win in the Tour de France joins the greats (even though he is already considered so). His 28th victory puts him alongside 'The Badger' Bernard Hinault, both second only to Eddy Merckx. That a sprinter has amassed that amount of stage wins is an awesome achievement.
Well done to him. I'm a big Mark Cavendish fan, but haven't kept up to date with the TdF because of Wimbledon.
I hope he competes in the Olympics and gets a gold medal too. He's awesome.
Just adding further praise to the Manx Missile after yesterday's stage win which took him clear of Hinault in stage wins. Truly the greatest sprinter in the history of the TdF.
