(...I know this will make look like a half wit, but I only passed my test yesterday)
When you buy a car (second hand), can you drive it home straightaway, surely you won't be insured?
Or do you arrange insurance prior to driving it home or what?

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.no not a half wit. you must have a minimum of third party. unless the car is registered under some one elses name and they have full cover on another vehicle they can then drive it but are only covered third party. arange insurance its the safest way. supermarket.com or confused.com. you only need to entre your details once. dont forget pass plus that will help you out on costs.
