Flexible Skiritng?

I want to replace the skirting in a bay window with new MDF skiritng. The radius 1.33 metres. I know flexible MDF sheets are available but these are only 6mm thick so I wouldn't be able to rout any sort of shape onto it, besides 6mm is too thin for my purpose.

Does anyone have any ideas?

If you use MDF or softwood skirting and make lots of vertical cuts on the back side of the skirting you should be able to carefully bend it into place.
Turboped's right, though this will leave a gap at each cut that you'll have to fill. (Not a problem). But if you're going to router the edge by yourself, why not stick several sheets of thinner MDF one on top of the other, using (e.g.) double-sided tape. Router the edge, then peel the pieces apart. Dry fit them in place, retaining the profile, then mark and cut to size. Screw or glue to the wall one at a time.

I fitted 7" wooden skirting with a fancy pattern to my bow window in the living room. I put a saw cut through the back about every three inches and then used water to bend it. I had to weight it down in just the right place (fortunately I had a large puddle in the garden which was right next to a wall) whilst in the water and it took a loooong time to actually get it to fit. I'm talking about three or four days to get it to the right amount of curviness.

It is a very time consuming process but it does look the dog's now.
