From my watching of "Air Crash Investigation" and internet sources more Boeings crash than Airbuses .Some say that DC aircraft are the most unreliable aircraft.

Thanks

Thanx, KebabMeister.... hopefully one learns something every day... I did!

Your welcome Clanad.

Here's a picture of the 'new' Nimrod MR4 - http://www.airsceneuk.org.uk/scene/mr4/zj518.htm You can just make out the old Comet lines.

Although it's still using some parts of the older MR2 it has received a completely new serial number - the ZJ means it's very new and not classed like a refit of the older aircraft & serial number. (e.g. when the serial numbers reach ZJ999 the next number will be ZK001).

Great link KebabMeister! You'd never mistake that nose for anything other than a deHavilland... It must be the only aircraft in the world with the imbedded engines... very historical!
The most unreliable must be the one that Direct holidays are using to take us to Alicante this summer. They have informed us that it will now take 11hours 55mins. longer to get off the ground. Amazing.
