You've got me thinking, Alba . . .
Castle Square in Sheffield wasn't square; it was a circular hole ;
The 'squares' on cricket pitches, that are so carefully tended by groundsmen, are hardly ever square ;
The areas where soldiers do their 'square-bashing' are probably just rectangular ;
London's Leicester Square is closer to being a kite than a square.
Perhaps squares don't really exist? (Oh, hang on though. When I was a teenager all of my friends called me 'square' so, apparently, I'm one!)
