All seems highly dodgy. As if it were agreed not to give members a 'leave' candidate for members to choose. But I'm sure politics aren't that underhanded. Just being suspicious. Meanwhile May is going to need watching carefully. As a 'remainer' she has no desire to change the UK EU relationship much and so much more likely to throw away our chance to reclaim our sovereignty as the cost of getting minor benefit from the single market.

( no surprise there I suppose ) But I seem to recall a free vote was allowed and even some of the few Tory MP's in Parliament at the time voted for the new law.
But we can't rely on that for the future. The only safe way forward is to elect a Labour administration.
I have just found this on the 'net, a quote from Prince Charles ::
"if hunting was banned, he might as well leave the country and spend the rest of his life skiing"
!
