Error Report - Medal of Honour Allied Assault

Hi, when I try to play this game on PC, i can setup the game and everything but when I click play, just before it starts loading, I recieve an error report and the game has to close. Is their anything I can do to sort it or will it sort its self out?????

it would help if you could say if it is a pirate or not and what graphics card , cpu and memory you have.

my sympathies are with you on this,as you know i have the same problem.

my copy was genuine and was running on a pc that can easily handle the game on max settings.

it worked fine for me until i did some hardware upgrades eg gfx card,sound card,ram.it worked for a couple of weeks after installing the new bits and then died in the same way as posted above.

ruddy shame as this is arguably my fave game of all time and certainly the only one to keep me playing for several years.

moh:airborne is out later this year so i have high hopes for that....just hope its better then spearhead and breathru as they lacked the soul of allied assault !

found this on the ea forums......

go in to the MOH folder

default folder is
c:\program files\ea games\mohaa

run a program called "configure".let it detect your stuff, click ok, then try.

Let me know if that works and I'll have to re-install.

yellowjohn, as I'm no good at all with computers I have no idea about all that but my computer is fairly new and quite expensive so I should imagine it should run fine only it doest.

Go to start > control panel > system , this will show your cpu and ram speed.
From there click on hardware > device manager then on the + sign on display adapters
This will show your graphics card. Then go on the ati ( radeon ) or nvidia web site ( whichever your card ) to download the latest drivers.
Before installing uninstall the old ones first either by add/remove programs in the control panel nor by inserting your origion cd driver disk to see if it has an uninstall option as this is more reliable.
Also you could try putting all your game settings to the absolute minimum in the game options and try it then.you can always increase them gradually after if it works
