Who is the Stig on the Top Gear programme?

having watched the repeat on monday night my wife thought it might be Damon Hill, I thought Nigel Mansell? Thoughts welcome

It isn't Damon Hill - theyve been on the show at the same time

If you look at the credits it tells you who he is. I cant remember but no-one that famous.

Just looked back on past posts. Its used to be Perry McCarthy but now is Ben Collins. I'm non the wiser :-)
