Maybe they are looking for an Amazon/Starbuck type tax deal.

But in any case the UK is still a great market in or out of the EU, it's just that they are a different proposition. Some advantages lost, other advantages gained.

This was always going to be the case..plus we can trade with countries that the eussr wouldnt previously allow...

This is good news but it's wrong to describe the current period as "post-Brexit". Brexit hasn't happened yet, and won't do for another two years at least. That probably makes now quite a useful time for foreign companies to invest, particularly with the pound so low.

Interesting question: If the UK economy becomes so focused around major foreign or global companies as opposed to home-grown ones, is this really a good thing for us? I don't know the answer to this, by the way, just curious.

Globalisation is not good for the working classes, but they are a reality that need to be dealt with. It would be detrimental to avoid them, but it would be a loss of sovereignty/democracy to bend over backwards to accommodate their every wish. Governments need to agree common methods for interacting with them and ensuring governments are not overpowered by powerful commercial entities. That needs something stronger than, "trust us, we won't gain a commercial advantage by pandering to them and saying, "screw our people", honest." It needs something to be signed up to.
