Friday. Gloomy again this morning. Outside, not me! :o} Rather cool too. I know that because Tiggy has gone to bed, He didn't go far during the night.

The delights of domesticity today, after a trip to Wotton-under-Edge this morning. I'll drop in at my friends' shop for a natter while I'm there.

Good morning everyone, not usually up at this time. Off on holiday to Germany today that's why I'm up early. Feels like the middle of the night!

We are going down the Rhine, nearest big town Boppard.
Stopping off in Belgium tonight and the same on the journey home.

You are in for a treat Caran. It's beautiful. Some good wine comes from the Rhine. Try the German red, if you can.

Thanks Boaty, I only drink rose, I find I'm a bit argumentative if I have red!
Will be doing a bit of stocking up for coming home though.

I can understand that Caran. The German reds are much more gentle than most. Have you tried Sekt? A sparkling white, very nice indeed.

Vera used to get a bit more than argumentative on red. It could get rather 'lively'. I had to ban her from drinking it! :o}

I love red wine...and white wine. Not too fussed about rosé, although I don't mind it now and again. I was stationed in Germany for a three years in army days. Love the country and the people.
