Small Claims Court & A Voluntary Strike-Off.
Im taking a company to court via the small claims courts
And the court date is set for October 2016
But the company in May this Year has just done a dissolved via voluntary strike-off.
After checking this company out via Companies house they have open and closed the same company 4 times in the last 6 years.
My question is have i lost out with this company doing this and should i cancel the court date or can i carry on and try and get my monies back.
The amount was for £1,300
Thanks

These are just a couple from Companies House

Resigned on 22 Feb 2011
22 Feb 2011 dissolved via voluntary strike-off
10 Jan 2013 Opened Company
Appointed Director on 10 January 2013
Resigned on 1 April 2014
Appointed on 5 January 2015
Resigned on 17 May 2016
17 May 2016 dissolved via voluntary strike-off
And there are others before the 2 above

The company did not follow the correct procedure when it applied to be struck off as you had already started the claim.
I hope somebody can advise you further but if not then it would do no harm to contact Companies House for advice on how to apply for the company to be restored to the Register so that your court claim can be dealt with
