Thank you Buenchico, I had a vague recollection of these words but had to look them up to be sure. Also found out that a 'glaring of cats' is a group of cats which are very uncertain of each other.

I didn't think I was one of them, till I got one 7 years ago, courtesy of my daughter
She got him to take my mind off losing my lovely Mum. She said I neededa new energy to fill the void. It certainly helped. I love him more than words can say, they are so interesting and funny. I think you can learn a lot from cats. I love all cats now, after years of not really knowing?? ( Sorry to go on!)...

They are right little characters.
Had back door open other day, neighbours cat came to visit, our cat wasn't impressed, bun fight at the ok corral was a hoot, no damage done to either moggy

I s'pose that I like the word ailurophile as I find words interesting.

I think that cats are cute but I'm more of a cynophilist/ canophiliac.
