"blunt" Teeth
5 Answers
In the early days of television public service announcements, Can anyone remember some thing like "The British dental association recommends for good health ALL food should be masticated / chewed 32 times " well,sixty-odd years later my 92 year old Mum on her umpteenth set of reconstructed dentures is about to request can they "sharpen" the chewing teeth to save getting "jaw ache" from marathon chewing and help reduce feeding time to less than an hour ! Any opinions appreciated, thanks.

Speaking of which does anyone remember 'Nuts in May', a play for today starring Alison Steadman and Roger Sloman (Candice-Marie and Keith, respectively). There's a wonderful moment when Keith delayed answering Candice-Marie's question until he had masticated the requisite number of times. Priceless.
