I would recomend Googling the name above. Its the name of a mining project about to start in the Chile/Argentina region of south America. It is purely in the interest of greedy profit, as all materials to be mined are non-essential, and the destruction of the local environment will be one of the most dramatic crimes known in human history. I urge you to read up on this situation, and make it as publicly known as humanly possible.

Yes snopes has verified its authenticity, and yet its still regarded as 'possibly nonesense' by many and ignored. Its considered illegal to publicise this in south America, and been swept under the carpet by the Bush administration.

Bob A Job, this is just another case among hundreds around the world at any one time, publicising it will make no difference at all, because the people with power/money will not take any notice as they are part of the same systems which do these things in all countries of the world and the people who take notice of these problems are those with no power/money to affect the outcome. The point is that everybody should realise that the whole world is being slowly destroyed by the political systems which encourage the accumulation of wealth (money) above all else and the commercial mentallity were the only thing which matters is profit.

To be honest with you, I have now got to the point of accepting that humans as a race do not want to understand any of the consequences of the things that they do to the earth and its systems until those systems have collapsed past the point of no return.

Try going to www.dieoff.com and reading some of the essays there on human behaviour, resources and possible futures for the world.

This particular operation has been stopped from going to print by BBC, CNN, SKY, ABC, NBC and countless other news organisations. I say again, the only way to make a difference in this world is to stamp your feet together. If you wish to just give up trying to make this world a better place, so be it, but i will shout from the rooftops until i cant breathe anymore. mayber then our children will have a fighting chance.

Yeah Bob you might be right, but I have spent more years than I care to think about trying to get people to care about what happens in the world and for every one who listens and thinks (a little bit) about what you say it seems like there are 99 others who either don't care or can't even bother to try and understand what you might be talking about and eventually I just can't see any way that you can make a dent in the ''system''
